Top 5 nail polishes for summer 2014

Hi guys, how are you doing? Today I decided to do a post that's bit more different then what I normally do. It wont be nail art, tutorial or review but simply my favourite and most used polishes this summer.

I'm gonna begin with the polish that I would never say it would be one of  my most used.
It's Hide & Go Chic by Essie, this is a darker blue polish that's actually part of their spring collection (named after this polish). The reason I would never guessed this is going to be one of my most used polishes is the COLOR of it. For some reason I used to think blue polishes looks weird on my nails.. well I guess I've changed my mind :)
It looks great on many nail arts that I did so this one definitely deserves to be in a top 5!
Formula is great, fully opaque in 2 coats, doesn't stain!

O.P.I You're So Outta Lime! It's part of their neon 2014 collection and it's a gorgeous green polish. This is the only one that I've bought from that collection and I'm very happy I did. Formula is good, 2 coats to be opaque,  it does dry to a semi matt finish like all the other neons, so you'll need a top coat :)

O.P.I I just can't cope-acabana gorgeous yellow nail polish from their Brazil collection. I love this one, the formula is amazing,  so creamy and wonderful. 2 coats to be fully opaque. It's a bit lighter in person then showed on the photo bellow.

Another one from the Brazil collection,  Where did Suzi's man-go? (This collection was amazing by the way) gorgeous mango, very subtle and pretty orange color. Great formula , opaque in 2 coats.

And last but not the least gotta be a pink one, I love pink polishes and it's really hard for me to pick just one so I'm gonna cheat a little bit on this one and give you 3 of my favourite shades :)
First one is the lightest and it's my all time favourite Fiji by Essie. This polish can easily enter to my top 5 for all year around because it's just so wearable and gorgeous. Formula is great, fully opaque in 2 coats.

Second pink is L'Oréal color rich called Acid Wartermelon. I actually purchased this one recently, and loved it ever since. The color is beautiful mid tone almost neon pink , great formula opaque with only one coat :D

And last but not the least from the pinks is actually part of a set. It's ciate corrupted neon manicure set in pink color. This gorgeous set comes with hot pink polish, pink neon microglitter and mini glow in the dark  top coat... absolutely fantastic for summer nights out. Would be great for the parties with neon lights so your mani can glow like a Christmas tree lol

This is my top 5 or better 7 nail polishes for the summer 2014. Is some of these beauties your favourite too? Let me know in the comments.
And also let me know if you would like to see more of these favorites posts :)

You can find the swatches and nail art that I did with these on my Facebook and Instagram. And don't forget to follow me on Bloglovin' so you  don't miss out on new posts =)

O.P.I - Brazil collection

Hay guys hope you're doing great.. I decided that's finally the time to introduce you with my O.P.I spring/summer 2014 collection - The Brazil collection.

I didn't buy all the polishes at once and they were all purchased on different places and of course by me =), that's why I'm writing this review so "late".

I don't have to tell you much about this collection because you probably know everything about it by now.

The first polish that I bought (on ebay) were DON'T BOSSA NOVA ME AROUND. This is a pink toned nude creme. Really nice and neutral color and a great replacement for white polish.
The formula is good, opaque in 2 coats and a little bit on the ticker side (but just a little :D )

I used 2 coats without top coat for the photos...

and a little nail art =)

WHERE DID SUZI'S MAN-GO? (love that name..ps love all the names lol)  is the one that I bought along with the Don't Bossa Nova Me Around on ebay.
This is a light mango orange cream with a great formula, opaque in 2 coats and with great consistency.

again I used 2 coats , no top coat for the photos ...

nothing without a little nail art ;)))

I JUST CAN COPE-ACABANA is a gorgeous (perfect) yellow cream that I bought in Sephora in Italy! The formula is great it's fully opaque in 2 coats and great consistency. I love this one and I think it's the best yellow polish ever..

2 coats, no top coat
without flash

 2 coats, no top coat
with flash

LIVE.LOVE.CARNAVAL is a bright coral creme and it's the only one bought in Croatia lol
The formula is good , opaque in 2 coats and great consistency. Great vibrant color for the summer =)

and a nail art including all the colors..

just when I made this last nail art I realized I picked all the fiery colors from the collection lol

so what do you think? do you like my picks? would you recommend me some other polish to try/buy?

hope you liked it and find it useful =)

till the next time xoxo

Essence BEACH CRUISERS -swatch, review and NAIL ART =)

Hy guys it's Friday yeeey =))) I had very busy week so I couldn't wait for the end of it to come, so I can get some rest lol

today I have a review of the new essence summer "the sparkling sand" collection to show you!

The collection is called Beach cruisers and it contains 4 sparkling sands in colors
01 I <3 summer break - red liquid sand with gold shimmer to it
02 girls just wanna have SUN! (lol) - light peachy color with golden shimmer
03 keep calm and go to the beach! - turquoise/teal/mermaid color with gold shimmer
04 life is a beach - is the color of the beach sand with a golden shimmer

Since I have a liquid sand from another brand that's quite similar to  02 girls just wanna have SUN! I didn't buy it! But the color is really pretty and if you don't own anything similar I would highly recommend it! As for the 01 I <3 summer break and 04 life is a beach I find that color quite boring for summer and I think they don't really compliment a lighter skin tone so I didn't wanted to spend money on them also!

So the one that I purchased is  03 keep calm and go to the beach! this is my absolute favorite in this collection. The color is so pretty and fun for this time of year..

so let's get to the swatches

I put 2 coats without top coat for the photos! the formula is great, as you can see is fully opaque in 2 coats. Dries quite fast with sandy finish and the removing is easy as well. It lasted 5 days on my nails,  without chipping , and that's great for my nails.
I love this color and the hint of shimmer that really pops when the sun hit's it!

and now a little nail art that I did using this polish

accent nail done with a help of a scotch tape =)

A  fish braid accent nail

Both very easy to do

OVERALL : I find this collection to be quite boring for the summer ( except the polish that I show you). It would be better if they have chosen brighter and more fun-summer appropriate colors because the formula is great. So I'm a bit sad about that , but that's just my opinion and maybe you'll found the other colors interesting and suitable for you so don't hesitate to try them if you like them =)!

I hope you liked today's post and that you find it useful.
thank you for reading till the next time xoxo
