Salvation Palette -Colour Chaos by Makeup REVOLUTION a dupe for Urban Decay Electric palette!!

Hy guys, after many nail related posts it's time for another make-up one =)

Today I'm gonna show  you my favorite eye shadow palette at the moment. As you can tell from the title it's a Colour Chaos palette by Makeup REVOLUTION!!

I've discovered this brand not so long ago on facebook, it's a young cosmetic brand that launched in London in March 2014. 

They have dupes for lot of high end brands such as Urban Decay, Nars, Tarte etc. but for very affordable price and great quality!! I have to mention they're also cruelty free!!!

The products can be bought worldwide from their WEB PAGE for £6,00 and you Croatian ladies can get them on PINK PANDA for 60,90 kn. It's actually on sale now, the regular price is 68,90 kn =)

 Salvation Palette - Colour Chaos contains 18 shades, 7 matte and 11 shimmers. 
It contains awesome combination of brights, acid neons and some neutrals!! 

It comes in a nice carton case that contains palette itself.

The palette comes in a a sleek, black, glossy plastic case , it closes nicely and it gave me a filing of quality and non breakable packaging, suitable for traveling!! 

On the inside of the lid is a large mirror and you also get a two side applicator!!

A lot of bloggers compares this palette to Urban Decay Electric one, and although I don't own UD I can tell from the pictures bellow that Colour Chaos has all the same shades as the UD plus 6 more!!

 

Ok so onto the actual shadows. They are all super pigmented and really nice. A little touch with your brush is all you need to pick up enough color. They blend in really nicely with not so much fall out. To be honest I was surprised by the quality of the single eye shadows!! 

 

The first row contains  GLEAM, WKD, TOM TOM, PINK OBSESSED, ON A MISSION and OVER-BORED (all shimmers)

 Second row: NEEDED TO..., ME THREE, DO IT NOW.., TOXI APPLE-TINI, AMMUNITION, DELIVER ME (all shimmers)

 

Third row consist of 6 matte shades: SUPER Y, MY DEMONS, TIP X,  I SAID GO!, BEYOND REAL and CALM ME DOWN this one matches my skin tone perfectly so it's a bit harder to notice it on the swatches =)

 

Overall this palette is really bold, and it may not be everyones cup of tea BUT there's always an occasion where you need a bright eye look so I would definitely recommend you this one because it's a great payoff for the low price and it does have some more neutral shades that are perfect for everyday use!!

For me personally this is a perfect palette because when I put makeup I like it to be vibrant and also I have few neutral shades here that I can use when I don't feel like having something that bold on my eyes!!

I've done one look (so far) using just the shadows from this palette ..

Let's talk make-up #2 - Beauty UK

I just realized I didn't do a make-up post for a looong time, so I decide to show you one eyeshadow pallet, eyebrow set and blush from a brand called BeautyUK that I absolutely love. I already talked about this brand in the post about some of their lipsticks and crayons that you can find HERE. Although this is really affordable drugstore brand the quality of their products is amazing and its great both for beginners and more advance make-up artists.
They're based in UK but they have an online shop as well and they do ship worldwide =)

Let me first show you this gorgeous eyeshadow palette that I have..

 This is a part of the Posh palettes.  They are available in four sensational collections, this one is the newest no.4 called Galaxy. This palettes are well pigmented and perfectly presented and they are the new generation of Beauty UK’s famous, award-winning eye palettes. 
It contains 10 mostly shimmery shades. The case is made of a hard white plastic so it wont break easily, and it has a useful mirror on the inside of the lid plus the 2 side applicator. 
The colors are stunning, they go from nudes to purples, blues and blacks. Perfect for darker night looks but also more lighter, natural day looks. I simply love it. The only downside for me is the applicator because I don't really like these sponged ones :/ But I do have my own brushes so this isn't that big of a deal.

Let me show you how they swatch ...

The second thing I want to show you today is ALL IN ONE BROW DEFINITION KIT from the same brand. The set comes in a cute little packaging that's made from hard plastic as well.  It contains 3 shades and one colorless wax  that helps keeping the brows in their place. The set also includes some really good tweezers and double ended application brush. I love how cute and little they are but jet so efficient.

In the back of the packaging you can find the instructions, and they said:

step 1- Shape and define your brows using the angled brush. Dip in the soft, colorless wax and use smooth, angled strokes.

step 2- Use the soft blending brush to apply the setting powder. This will fill in any sparse areas and lock the brow in place.

step 3- Perfect your look by using the precision tweezers to remove any stray hairs. Done! 

I love this set because it suitable for all hair types and colors , you can easily mix the 3 shades to get exactly what you need. As you can see on the photo I use the lightest color the most  =)

If you don't already own some sort of brow kit I think you can give this one a go for only £3.99!

Last thing I have to show you for today is my favorite  highlighter/blush  =) . It's a baked-box blush by Beauty UK no.3 called HALO (great name)

 

 

 Although the box says it's a blush in my opinion it's more of a highlighter because it gives you amazing glow and not much color. But I like it that way because you can use it just like a highlighter or blush in the summer when you only want something sparkling on your cheeks =)

 The packaging is made from cardboard slim, square box with a square mirror within the flip lid.  The cardboard compact closes  tight thanks to a magnet. The baked blush contains 4,4g of product which is really good for the price of £3.99.

This is an absolute must have for all of us girls. It's so wearable and usable in more ways, for such an affordable price. 

Overall I obviously love all of the  products I've show you today and really think every girl should have something like this in her make-up bag, whether you do your make-up a lot or from time to time like me =)

BeautyUK swatch and review

Hi guys.. Don't know if you have noticed but I changed my blog's name =) Yesterday I received a package full of beautiful make-up so (after some hard thinking) I decided that I will share with you (from now on) my favorite make-up pieces and brands.

ps please fell free to suggest a (better) name for my blog in the comments bellow =)


So the package I mention before was from beautyuk. This is a cosmetics brand that's born 5 years ago in UK. It's a family run business, which is quite nice really in a world full of big, scary, faceless corporations They're creating high quality, affordable products, and being a family business they provide a much friendlier, more tailored service for their customers. 
I heard of this brand when it first came to my country, not so long ago (less than a year) , and I read many positive reviews on their product since. 
I do own some of their nail polishes, since they are my biggest passion, and I did couple of nail arts with them that you can check here: Nail art

Today I'm gonna show you and tell you all about the lip products that I received. which are -  two of their lipstick and 2 POSH POUT- moisturising twist-up tinted lip balms.

although they look pretty similar you'll see they actually not =) 


so let's get to the swatches...

first I'm gonna show you two lipsticks that I have.

PACKAGING: The packaging is really sleek and doesn't give the impression that it's a cheap brand at all. I love that you can see the colors of the lipstick at the end which makes it nice and easy to see which colour you're picking up.  
A great bonus is that the ends come off and it contains a little extra product to apply with a lip brush. I never seen that in the other brands so I think it's quite unique =)
And I love the little <3 that every lipstick has =))

  


No 17 PLUMALICIOUS is  a nice rich dark berry (burgundy) color that is quite bold. It gives sort of a vampy look on your lips. It's really pigmented goes on extremely nicely and creamy and it last quite long. I love the feel that this lipstick leaves on the lips -  kind of a cooling effect I believe caused by peppermint. In case you don't like these kind of things, don't worry bc the feeling disappears after few minutes.
Both of the lipstick are mint scented  and really moisturizing.
Overall I quite liked this lipstick and I think it would be perfect for autumn/winter time (at least for me).

No 16 PINK MY RIDE  is a bright, fuchsia toned pink which is incredibly vibrant and pigmented within one application to the lips. I've been searching for this tipe of lipstick I think for
2 years now. I bought few from the other brands (like essence and catrice) that appeared to be bright fuchsia pinks but the color didn't transfer to the lips =/ 
Finally I have found perfect bright pink for the summer time =)))  : pink-my-ride

 I couldn't really capture the real shade of it. it's a bit darker and more fuchsia on the lips ;)
Perfect summer lipstick for me =)

 

CONCLUSION: 

 I love the formula of these lipsticks and think Beauty UK have done an amazing job and made them really good competitors for more expensive brands. They are really creamy and soft but this does not compromise the lasting power of the product which I find is often the case with moisturising lipsticks! The lasting power is amazing, even after eating and drinking the pigmentation looks as strong and bright as when first applied which I believe to be such an important factor because there is nothing worse than wearing a bright, statement lipstick to then find the color has faded after short amount of time. 




 Now let's get on to the POSH POUT's - Moisturising twist-up tinted lip balms. 
The Posh Pouts are a typical lip crayons.The crayons have a very slight minty scent, but barely detectable ( I didn't noticed it at first) and they are extremely moisturising.
I absolutely adore these because they glide on super smoothly, stay put for quite a long time (couple of hours), and some have a staining effect on your lips! 
They are a great product to carry around in your bag, since the cap is super secure and won't fall off, and unlike a lipstick if you accidentally get a bit out of your lip line it doesn't stain immediately, so you still have some time to fix up.


 The 2 shades that I have to show you are  No 1 big pinkin' and No 3 power to the purple

   

No 1 BIG PINKIN'  is a soft medium to light blue based pink color and it's on the sheer side. It's not as pigmented as the lip sticks but I quite liked the fact they're so different. 
It's not so long-lasting (couple of hours before you have to re-apply) but these products aren't supposed to be, it's easily applied and very convenient for on the go. 
At first it has a glossy finish that turns into satin one. The application is really easy and smooth and that's what I love about these products.


No 3 POWER TO THE PURPLE  isn't really purple at all but is a lovely sheer shade of deep pink.

Overall I really liked all of the 4 products that I show you.. I would highly recommend you to try some of them because they're high quality products for such a  low prices.
