(S)wimbledon by Catrice

Hello my nail lovers, hope you're doing great.
On today's post I'll show you new Catrice polish called (S)wimbledon. For me this color is the most exciting one from the new Catrice line so I just had to buy it =)
It also have a new brush that is much better then old one (in my opinion), it's still wide but makes application easier!

Pozdrav noktoljupci, danas ću vam pisati o novom Catrice laku (S)wimbledon. Meni je ovaj lak najinteresantniji od svih iz njihove nove linije tako da sam ga morala kupiti =)
Ima i novi kistić koji je po mom mišljenju bolji od starog, ostao je širok i plosnat ali je aplikacija sa njim lakša!

The color is most gorgeous sorta bright turquoise/green. It has barely noticeable silver shimmer in it and it's completely opaque in 2 coats!
ps the pictures are 2 coats NO top coat =)

Boje je predivna nekako jarko tirkizno zelena. Ima i jedva primjetan srebrni šimer  i potpuno pokriva sa 2 sloja!
ps slike su sa 2 sloja i BEZ nadlaka =)

Overall  I love this color and I think its perfect for summer. I highly recommend it to anyone who has catrice in their country!!
PS What do you think of this shade? Have you tried any of the new catrice polishes?

Sve u svemu lak mi je super i mislim da je boja savršena za ljeto. Toplo ga preporučam svima <3
PS Što vi mislite o ovoj nijansi? Jeste li probali neki od novih catrice lakova?

LEAVES MATTE NAIL ART

Although there are a lot of winter manis out there I'm still in my fall mood so today, I'm gonna show you another fall themed nail art.

For the base I've used Vino tinto ( italian for dyed wine)  by Catrice, it's actually dark brownish polish with burgundy/red undertone, in pictures is more dark blue, idk why :/
I think it can be good alternative to black polish if you want dark nails but doesn't really like black look!

For the leaves I've used acrylic paint because it's a lot more easier to clean brushes afterwards than when using polish!

I love the roses in the background =) do you?

This is a nail art that requests a bit more time and patience, but still its not so hard that requests any special skills!!

I almost forgot to mention that I've used O.P.I's Matte Top coat for this look!

What do you think? Did you like it?

Feathery Fact by Catrice

Hi guys hope you're doing great =)
I have this beauty for few weeks and I'm planing on reviewing it since then.
It's a Feathery Top Coat from Catrice's Limited Edition "Feathered Fall" for September/November 2014.
This collection has some amazing products and colors, and it's in stores now. You can take a look on entire collection HERE!

these are all the polishes from the collection - source is Google
Feathery Fact (last in the photo above) contains ultra fine metallic, green, silver - opalescent particles that create a feathery look on the nails in transparent base!

with matte top coat

I've used it over Hrvatska Ljubav by Parrot Polish (REVIEW) and I loved the look.. I think that this two polishes compliment each other well.

I also combined matte and regular top coat to create this:

Matte top coat make the particles from Feathery Fact stand out more, I quite like it!!

Overall I really liked this top coat, it's really pretty and can be layered over variety of colors. It retails for approximately $4 which is quite affordable!

PRIME AND FINE ANTI-RED BASE by Catrice

Hello guys hope you're doing great!
Today I decided to write a review for this product that I recently bought in a local drugstore.
It's an anti red base from a n European cosmetic drugstore brand called Catrice.

I was planing on buying some foundation base for a while now and this one recently came out, it's a part of their new line. The reason I bought this one, apart for the fact that it suppose to neutralize redness and it's oil free (which is perfect for my skin), is because I have their foundation and setting powder and I'm so happy with them. So I've figured it would be nice to have complete set from the same brand (base, foundation and setting powder).

I've tried this base few days ago for the first time. It's green which is okay, products that reduce redness normally are! So I expected that but the fact I didn't expect are the glitters... yep you read it right... it contains glitters!!

At first I taught the packaging was dirty so that's where the glitters are from. Then I washed it and my hands and everything and start over... but didn't helped... my face was glowing like a Christmas tree :/
And it doesn't get covered by foundation... terrible!!

ps the picture bellow is my hand (not face)
I hope you can see how many glitters there is in small amount of product

I don't know what they were thinking when they've made this. .. I mean it's a base that supposed to reduce redness and excessive shine and not to add it.
The reason I'm quite mad about this product is that they didn't wrote that the product contains glitters.. if they did I most certainly wouldn't spend my money on it.
Not that it was expensive, around 5€, but anyway...
This is what they wrote on the packaging: "Soft green primer neutralizes redness and gives a longlasting even skin tone. Minimizes optically fine lines and pores. Use alone or under make up. Free of parabens, oil and perfume.  Dermatologically tested."

I'm so disappointed in this product and brand as well for not letting us know what the product really is and misleading us..
This is why I had to write this post and let you guys know, no mater how sorry I am, because I love this brand!

So for me this is a big regret and fail and I wouldn't recommend this base to anyone who doesn't want to have glitters all over their face!
Hope I helped some of you with this review.  Please let me know in comments below if you'll like to see review of the foundation and setting powder I've mentioned above!

Catrice - Shopping Day At Bluemingdales

Hello guys I hope you're  having a good weekend.. It's a bit rainy here in Croatia so I'm kinda stuch inside :/ but that gave me a motivation to write a new post :)
Today I'm gonna show you a nail polish that is part of Catrice's regular line. It's called Shopping Day At Bluemingdales and it's a gorgeous Blu color that I didn't aspect to love as much as I do, now after I swatch it. It really compliment my pale (porculan ) skin tone.
Here is 2 coats without top coat.. it's a cream rich/indigo blue that applies very nicely and easily. . I didn't had any problem with the formula.. I highly recommend this polish!!

I wanted to spice things up a little, after iI warn it for like a 2 days on it's own .so I added one coat of Polish Alcoholic ' s holographic top coat called Intergalactic dust (This is my all time favourite topper)

 this is the result

you can find Intergalactic dust and all the other Polish Alcoholic beautiful 5-free home made polishes on her etsy shop- PolishAlcoholic

Hope you find this post usefull :) till the next time xoxo
